High strength casting iron (HT300) with tempering treatment is utilized, to ensure rigidity, stability, and durability of our double column grinders.
Fixed cross beam structure combines the beam and columns into one sturdy door shape, to guarantee the solidity of the machine
Movements
Large twin V is adopted on the machine base and work-table railways, allowing rock-steady table movements, as well as maintains best alignment with equilibrium
The grinding head movements (vertical & longitudinal travel) are guided by high precision grade ball-screws, and driven by Baldor AC servo motors (PNC type). These features facilitate accurate positioning and micron-precise feeding
Moving on high density strength steel (S55C), with ultra precision grade linear roller bearings, the grinding head has firm and smooth cross travel with exceptional and accurate cutting ability
Angular turn on the vertical grinding head is driven by AC servo motor on worm shaft transmission. Numerical insert on desired angle with accuracy to 0.1 degree allows swift angle forming grinding with excellent results
Spindle & Motor set
High precision in-house assembled cartridge type spindle set uses 6 super precision CP4 grade angular ball bearings, sealed with permanent lubrication. This structural superiority empowers the spindle to grind with low noise, low heat rise, and high precision
Japanese brand V3 grade high torque spindle motors are utilized on all double column models. They are thoroughly tested with kinetic balance inspections, capable of remaining low noise, low vibration, and high stability movements even after long period of operation
V3 grade motor is integrated with spindle set via couplings for direct transmission, to obtain maximum torque and reduce vibration
Lubrication
Force coverage lubrication (oil streams down from upper to lower machine base railways) avoids impacts from lubricant oil pulsation pressure, and allows smooth movements
The detecting sensor will disable table movement to protect the railways when lubrication oil pressure is not normal
Hydraulic system
Employs precise electrical circuit to control the proportional hydraulic valve
The operator can adjust work table speed directly via control panel, increasing work efficiency
Hydraulic tank temperature is maintained by Habor Coolant system. The coolant stabilizes oil temperature after long hours of operation to guarantee grinding precision and protect hydraulic system parts
Control System (PNC type)
Our own design of DSC based NC control system integrates all functions & movements of a large machine into one panel
Numerical Control system that utilizes AC servo motors on both vertical feed & cross feed
LCD screen display with digital inputs on panel allows easy operation on various grinding applications
Easy maneuver and user-friendly design make the machine operation simple, without having to learn complex programming
